The incisal guide table serves for anterior registration, achieved with the incisal stem after the condylar guides have been calibrated.
The stem or incisal guide will have a positive torque that can be adjusted and calibrated. This allows the dentist and lab technician to control the vertical dimension of the patient. It will allow its opening-closing axis to coincide with the terminal hinge axis and reproduce mandibular border movements.
Information is transferred with the facebow using a previous reference point. This will make it possible to introduce minor changes in the patient’s vertical dimension with hardly any change in centric position. In addition, the transfer of the anterior reference point facilitates the arrangement of the incisor group with the desired buccolingual inclination.
